World Theatre Day will be celebrated at the New Westminster Public Library with the presentation From the Page to the Stage. On Sunday, March 27 at 2 p.m., City Stage New West artistic director Renée Bucciarelli and the authors of The New Westminster Frasers Baseball Club, Ken McIntosh and Rod Drown, will conduct a discussion about the process of dramatizing the book about the semi-pro team’s season at Queen’s Park Stadium.
Selections from the book and the unfinished play-in-progress, Burning up the Infield: The 1974 Frasers will be read.

Chris Brown trashed his dressing room at “Good Morning America” and broke a window with a chair Tuesday after co-host Robin Roberts asked him about his attack on Rihanna, according to a person familiar with the show.
The person was not authorized to discuss the matter and spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity. Security was called, but not police.
Brown was on the ABC morning show Tuesday to promote his new album, “F.A.M.E.,” released the same day. During his interview with Roberts, she asked him about the 2009 attack on his then-girlfriend – preceding her questions by noting he had been “very good” about talking about the attack.

Each year the Fulton Volunteer Fire Department sponsors Oysterfest, a salute to the tasty bi-valve found in our local waters. Oysterfest features carnival rides, games, food, an oyster eating contest, live music, unique vendor booths and most of all – FUN!
The Fulton Volunteer Fire Dept. and the Town of Fulton are pulling out all the stops in preparation for the Annual Fulton Oysterfest. The 2011 festival is scheduled for Thursday, March 3rd – Sunday, March 6th, on the waterfront in Fulton, Texas. The organizers are putting on the final touches for this year’s event.

AMC will air a special marathon of the first season of “The Walking Dead” starting at 7 tonight, with each of the six episodes packaged with exclusive content.
Interviews with executive producer and writer Frank Darabont, who also directed the pilot; executive producers Gale Anne Hurd and Robert Kirkman as well as special effects makeup designer and consulting producer Greg Nicotero are included in the extras, according to Melissa Hayer of NewsOK’s Television Blog.
The marathon will also feature an exclusive first look at 8:30 and 11:45 tonight of AMC’s new original drama “The Killing” which will have a two-hour premiere at 8 p.m. April 3. “T
