SAN DIEGO Kristen Stewart dons armor and wields a huge sword and shield for her next movie. Rest assured, it will not be your mother and father’s Snow White.

Stewart joined other cast and crew Saturday at the ComicCon fan convention for a preview of next year’s “Snow White and the Huntsman,” an actionpacked twist on the fairy tale.

The “Twilight” star told a ComicCon crowd that doing a sweet, traditional Snow White was not something “I was jumping at.” What attracted her was that this Snow White was a bold leader with her feet firmly on the ground.

“Also, I get to have a sword and stuff,” Stewart said. “Really cool weapons.”

The movie is due out next June and is one of two “Snow White” movies Hollywood has coming. Read the rest of article…

Alex Trebek, longtime host of the television quiz show “Jeopardy,” was injured while chasing a burglar out of his hotel room early Tuesday.

The 71-year-old TV personality revealed his condition at the National Geographic World Championship in San Francisco. Footage shot by CNN affiliate KGO showed Trebek taking the long way to the stage, hobbling on crutches up the disabled-access ramp. He placed his crutches to one side and hopped over to the podium, where he told his story with the dry wit “Jeopardy” fans have come to love.

The OMG Double Double burger contains two meat patties, two slices of cheese, bacon and lettuce sandwiched between two Krispy Kreme doughnuts.

Its breakfast, dinner and a little dessert all in one.

And the latest media stunt by a fast-food outlet aiming to capitalise on greasy shock-value.

The OMG Double Double burger, from independent Brisbane fast-food outlet Chompers, contains two meat patties, two slices of cheese, bacon and lettuce sandwiched between two Krispy Kreme doughnuts.

Its creator, Chompers owner Chris Bowe, admits the 6000 kilojoule burger is cooked to garner media attention in an increasingly competitive market.

The burger is not original – Americans were the first to combine doughnuts and meat patties.
