Brad Pitt to celebrate past and present baseball stars in opening of tonight’s MLB All-Star Game

Shawnee-born movie star Brad Pitt is narrating an opening segment for Major League Baseball’s 82nd All-Star Game, airing at 7 tonight on Fox.
The Oscar-nominated actor will celebrate baseball stars from the past and present in the segment, according to a news release.
Pitt, 47, stars as former baseball player and current Oakland Athletics general manager Billy Beane in the upcoming film “Moneyball,” due in theaters Sept. 23. The movie is based on the influential nonfiction book by Michael Lewis.
