Wiz Khalifa earns first-ever #1 single on Billboard Hot 100 with “Black and Yellow” (AHN)

It’s only appropriate that after the Super Bowl, Wiz Khalifa’s “Black and Yellow” jumps up to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100. “Black and Yellow,” which became the unofficial Pittsburgh Steelers anthem, was played heavily on radio leading up to the big game. While the Steelers lost, Khalifa came out a winner, earning his first ever #1 single. The single sold another 198,000 copies this week.

Bruno Mars’ “Grenade” falls down one to #2 this week, after spending four non-consecutive weeks at #1. He sells another 141,000. At #3 is Katy Perry, remaining unmoved from last week with “Firework,” selling 121,000.

Pink drops down two spots from last week to #4 with “F***in’ Perfect,” the latest single off her hits compilation “Greatest Hits!!!…So Far.” The single sells another 187,000 copies.

Dr. Dre earns his highest debuting single on the Hot 100 this week, coming in at #5 with “I Need a Doctor,” featuring Eminem and Skylar Grey. The single comes in as the #1 digital seller of the week, moving 226,000 downloads in its first week.

At #6 is Enrique Iglesias, who drops one spot to #6 with “Tonight (I’m Lovin’ You),” featuring Ludacris and DJ Frank E. The single moves another 124,000 copies. Far East Movement follow at #7 with “Rocketeer,” featuring Ryan Tedder. The single moves up two spots from last week, selling 117,000.

At #8 this week are Rihanna and Drake with “What’s My Name,” moving down two spots this week. Pitbull and T-Pain follow at #9 with “Hey Baby (Drop It To The Floor),” which also falls two spots this week.

Closing out the top 10 is Britney Spears with her latest single “Hold It Against Me.” The former #, and first single off her upcoming “Femme Fatale,” is down two spots this week.
