Lady Gaga may have gotten a lot of flack for her “Express Yourself”-inspired new single and what some considered a runny performance of it at the Grammys, but “Born This Way” shoots all the way to #1 in its first week, giving Gaga her third #1 single on the chart, following her early chart-toppers “Just Dance” and “Poker Face.”

“Born This Way” sells 448,000 copies in its first week, giving her the biggest first-week digital sales total for a female solo artist, breaking Britney’s just-set record last month for “Hold It Against Me.” The total was earned after just three official days in release, and definitely earned a Grammys boost. The single is also Billboard’s 1000th #1 single since it began charting in 1958.

Katy Perry is up a spot to #2 this week from #3 with “Firework,” selling another 170,000 copies. Bruno Mars is down one to #3 with “Grenade,” selling 143,000 copies. Last week’s #1, Wiz Khalifa’s “Black and Yellow,” drops three spots to #4 this week, selling 153,000.

Pink is down a spot to #5 this week with “F—kin’ Perfect,” her second single off “Greatest Hits…So Far!!!,” also selling in the 153,000 range. Enrique Iglesias holds in the #6 spot with “Tonight (I’m Lovin’ You),” which features Ludacris and DJ Frank E.

Cee Lo Green earns a new peak position with his single “F— You (Forget You)”, which jumps from #16 to #7 this week. It had previously peaked at #7 but also earned a boost thanks to the Grammys, where he performed the track with Gwyneth Paltrow. It sells 148,000 this week.

Rihanna’s “What’s My Name” drops out of the top 10 just as her “S&M” climbs in, jumping all the way from #31 to #8. The single sells 145,000 this week and earns Rihanna her 15th top 10 hit (and third off “Loud.”)

The Black Eyed Peas climb back into the top 10 thanks to a boost from their Super Bowl performance with “The Time (Dirty Bit),” selling 153,000 copies. Britney Spears, meanwhile, closes out the top 10 for another week with her latest, “Hold It Against Me.”
