Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi’s angry speech against anti-government supporters has gone viral on the Internet after an Israeli used part of it to make a dance music video. The video titled Zenga Zenga has received nearly 500,000 hits since DJ Noy Alooshe, 31, uploaded it on YouTube.

Alooshe mixed a clip of the speech where Gaddafi threatened to clean Libya of protesters “inch by inch, house by house, room by room, alley by alley” to the tune of hip-hop song “Hey Baby.” The phrase was used as chorus of the song with the Libyan leader shown repeatedly banging his fist on a podium while women in bikini dance to his left and right.

According to Alooshe, he found Gaddafi’s speech made in Tripoli a week ago amusing and decided to turn it into music. He also made a version without the dancing women and the video got more than 40,000 hits on YouTube.

The Zenga Zenga has attracted fans among Libyan rebels and protesters as it was posted on their websites.
