At first glance, the thought of reading a biography of David Ben-Gurion written by Shimon Peres may seem like a waste of time. After all, Peres considers Ben-Gurion his hero and mentor so you can’t expect any sort of objective writing.
But, from what I can tell, the most interesting parts of Ben-Gurion: A Political Life seem to be those that give readers more insight into Peres rather than Ben-Gurion.

Move over “Noah,” Darren Aronofsky has another epic to attend to. The “Black Swan” director might be busy at work prepping for his “big event film,” but it was recently announced that he has a new side project that might take some precedence over bringing Noah’s biblical tale to the big screen.
Associated Press has learned that Aronofsky is going to be directing a music video from the new Metallica and Lou Reed album, “Lulu.” He’ll shoot the video for “Iced Honey” soon and the whole video will be ready for public consumption later this month.

Good Humor-Breyers, the owners of the Klondike bar, are getting very creative with their advertising. They have an advertising campaign called “5 Seconds to Glory” pushing their new “What The Fudge” Klondike bar where people have to endure 5 seconds of an uncomfortable situation with the payoff being the new Klondike bar.

This past April, MTV launched a twisted new awards show/experience called the O Music Awards. They were all online, featured mad stuff like Chiddy Bang rapping live for a world record, Matt Kim, Foster the People and Mumford and Sons performing live, mad fan armies, Lady Gaga, prizes for fan-generated categories and general mayhem.
